Uninstall
Remove Turboism with its installer while deciding what personal configuration to keep.
This is candidate guidance for publication pending. Use the uninstaller supplied by the installer that installed your Preview build; do not remove files while Turboism or its host application is running.
Use the installer’s uninstaller
- Close Turboism and the host application normally.
- Open the installer’s registered uninstall entry, or use the generated uninstaller supplied with that installation.
- Follow the uninstaller’s confirmation steps.
- When asked, choose whether to keep your configuration. Keep it if you may reinstall or need the same preferences later; remove it only if you no longer need it and have saved anything important.
- After completion, confirm that the application no longer starts through the removed installation.

What is kept
The uninstaller removes files it owns. To avoid destroying material it cannot safely identify, unknown files and third-party plugin JARs are preserved. Keeping configuration is also a deliberate choice rather than an automatic deletion.
If you want to remove preserved material, review it yourself after uninstalling and back up anything you may need. Do not treat removal as a way to erase unrelated host files or projects.
Before and after
Read Update Policy before replacing an installation. If an update or mode change failed, start with Downgrade and Recovery rather than assuming an older build can be safely restored.
